The 16th MECSPE is about to begin. Between 23 and 25th March at the Fiere di Parma, MECSPE will be the perfect occasion for the Italian SME to present the most innovative products and solutions.
A vital sector, which has left behind the crisis: this is the picture of the mechanical companies and Italian mechanical subcontracting that emerges from the last edition of the MECSPE Observatory report. More than six out of 10 entrepreneurs (65.5%) say they are broadly satisfied with the performance of their companies, relying on turnovers that – looking at the close of 2016, compared to the same period of 2015 – are expected to rise by 37% and stable from 49.7% of the total people interviewed. Orders are tailored to the financial needs (78.6%), liquidity is good for as much as 60.2%, but above all there is the extreme confidence in the good performance of the market, in the short term, with nearly half of enterprises (47.9%) is expecting a growth and 44.8% stability.
A new momentum which translates into a desire to return to be active players in the market. MECSPE 2017 – the most important Italian event for the manufacturing 4.0 - recorded fact record numbers with over 1,800 exhibitors and over 40 thousand visitors awaited in the 105 thousand square meters of exhibition space in the halls of Fiere di Parma, between 23 and 25th of March. To Hall 2 (Machine tools, treatments and finishes), 3 (machine tools and mechanical subcontracting), 5 (which hosts Digital Factory, Subcontracting Electronics, Motek Italy, Italy Control, Power Drive, Logistics), 6 (with Eurostampi and lounge Additive manufacturing) will be joined the hall 8 with the participation of companies working in different areas of production and processing of treatments and finishes and hall 4, which will be the heart of Digital Factory 4.0 (Fabbrica digitale 4.0).
